Chief Munir Balogun, father of Grammy award-winning singer, Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has weighed into the online banters between his son and Afrobeat musician, David Adeleke also known as Davido.

Wizkid’s father said those trolling his son, especially supporters of Davido, were doing so because they are looking for what to eat.

This is coming barely days after Wizkid called out Davido on X (formerly Twitter), describing the multiple award-winning singer as a ‘wack’ and talentless musician.

Wizkid also described Davido as a ‘popsy boy’ who cannot match his talent in the global musical space and was not envious of him.

However, Davido is yet to respond to the attacks on him by Wizkid, but the Fem crooner’s aides have responded to the Brown Skin Girl singer’s needless attack on their boss.

The renewed feud between the two mega stars is coming ahead of the release of Wizkid’s sixth album titled ‘Morayo’, an album in honour of his late mum.

But reacting to the recent feud, Wizkid’s father said he had consistently urged his son to ignore trolling from Davido’s supporters whenever they come for him.

Balogun, who spoke in an interview with The Punch,  said he follow the online fight between his son and Davido on Facebook and Instagram.

“I have done that and I told my son that he shouldn’t look or listen to whatever the boys who are supporters of Davido are saying.

“The supporters are only looking for what they will say to collect money and all of that. They are just looking for what they are going to eat and I told him not to pay much attention to them.

“I’ve told my son to take things easy with them and overlook whatever they say because I don’t blame them,” Wizkid’s father said.
