The NNPC Ltd has cautioned Nigerians to stop engaging in panic buying of petroleum products as the yuletide season approaches.
It also assured that there are adequate products in stock to cater for the period and beyond.
The appeal was contained in a statement on Tuesday by its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Garba Deen Muhammad.
NNPC, however, assured that it would ensure smooth supply and distribution of the products nationwide.
“The NNPC Ltd hereby urges the general public not to engage in panic buying of petroleum products, as the Company has sufficient stock of the products that will last the festive period and beyond.
“The NNPC is also engaging all stakeholders to ensure smooth supply and distribution of products to every part of the country”, the statement read.
