The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency, Rev Francis Ejiroghene Waive has defeated the candidate of the PDP, Hon. Samuel Marierie.
Announcing the results, the Returning Officer, Dr. E. Igbinovia said Waive polled 41,385 votes to defeat Marierie who scored 35,126 votes.
