A commercial bus plying the Ughelli/Port Harcourt section of the East-West Road has plunged into a river at Umeh Junction in Delta State.
The bus was said to be returning from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, when the ravaging flood forced the driver of the vehicle to lose control.
NIGER DELTA TODAY Online learnt that the incident occurred on Thursday (today) around 5pm.
No life was loss in the incident but some passengers were reportedly injured.
The ravaging flood has since taken over both section of the Ughelli/Port Harcourt Road while the popular Umeh Bridge in Isoko South LGA of Delta State is at the verge of collapsing.
