Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Speaker of the Delta State House Assembly, has reappointed veteran journalist, Mr Dennis Otu as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
Also appointed by the Delta Speaker is Mr. Martins Uko, who will serve as his Special Assistant (SA) on Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC) affairs.
These are the first appointments that Oborevwori will be making since his reemergence as the Speaker of the Seventh Assembly in May 2019.

Otu, a senior journalist and author, had been earlier been appointed as CPS by the speaker in his first term.
A statement issued by the office of the speaker on Tuesday confirmed the development to journalists in the state.
Otu, a former vice chairman of the Warri Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) is a versatile journalist of over three decades of high professionalism.
In his first appointment, the veteran journalist made the office of the speaker more visible and accessible to journalists in the state.
