Usifo Ataga: Family Releases Date For Burial Of Super TV CEO

A month after he was gruesomely murdered, all is now set for the burial of the late Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Super TV, Mr. Usifo Ataga.

Ataga’s remains will be committed to mother earth on July 30th in Lagos.

The media guru will be interred at the Ebony Vaults in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.

According to the funeral arrangements by his family, a service of song will hold in his honour on July 29, 2021, at the Incubator in Victoria Island (VI), Lagos.

A copy of the funeral arrangements sighted by NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online said a funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in VI on July 30th.

Born June 19, 1971, Ataga was an old student of the Federal Government College, Warri, Delta State. He was a member of Class 1988.

Ataga was alleged to have been murdered by 21-year-old undergraduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Miss Chidinma Ojukwu, at an apartment in Lagos.

The 300-level Mass Communication student had reportedly checked into the service apartment at Adebowale Oshin Street, Lekki Phase I, Lagos with Ataga to have fun before he was later found dead.

Chidinma had confessed killing Ataga after she was arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command.

However, weeks after confessing to the crime during parade at the Lagos Police Command Headquarters, the Abia State born student, had made a U-turn denying killing the deceased.
