Two Patients From Edo, Lagos Die Of Coronavirus As Nigeria Records 20 New Cases

Two COVID-19 patients from Edo and Lagos States have died of the pandemic, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced.

It further announced that the country also recorded 20 new cases of the COVID-19 bring the total number of confirmed cases to 210.

NCDC disclosed this through its verified Twitter handle on Friday evening.

It stated that the number of death cases have now risen to four.

“Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo

“Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State.

“As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”, the tweet read.

The centre had on Friday morning warned that the number of confirmed cases for COVID-19 may increase in the coming days.
