Tinubu/Shettima: Emerhor-led South-South Contacts, Mobilisation Committee Begins Work

Following the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Olorogun O’tega Emerhor-led South-South Contacts and Mobilisation Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council has held its inaugural meeting to mobilise support in the region.

The committee at the meeting vowed to mobilised contacts and the people of the South-South to deliver the APC presidential candidate, Alhaji Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The meeting held on Saturday October 22nd, 2022, in Abuja was attended by members of the directorate and discussed the structures and strategies to achieve the mandate of the committee ahead of the polls.

The meeting chaired by the founding leader of the APC in Delta State, Olorogun Emerhor, among other decisions agreed to hold an inaugural meeting of the full membership of the directorate in their next meeting.

It subsequently set up a subcommittee comprising of Dr. Dakuku Peterside and Senator John Enoh to urgently draft programmes and activities that the directorate shall undertake to successfully prosecute the election in the region.

Present at the inaugural meeting are Olorogun Emerhor (Director), Chief David Lyon (Deputy Director) Dr. Dakuku Peterside (Deputy Director), Dr. Samson Osagie (Assistant Director) and Hon Martins Orim (Assistant Secretary),  Senator John Enoh (Assistant Director) and Hon Efiong Akpan (Secretary).
