Tension In Delta Community As Armed Bandits Abduct Two Pastors

Armed bandits have reportedly kidnapped Two pastors and a member of a Pentecostal church in Aniocha South local government area of Delta State.

It was learnt that the three kidnapped Christians were Abducted on Thursday along Ubulu-Unor/Ogwashi- Uku road.

 Those kidnapped include pastor Paul Okozi, Mr. Obi Dieyi and another member of the church, sources said. inspect the ongoing church building project when they were kidnapped.

The sources added, “The two pastors with some members of the church were going to inspect the Church building when the bandits Abducted them.

According to the sources, “One of the church members escaped from the bandits and ran home to inform them of the development.

The sources said no contact has been made to family members yet.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya who confirmed the incident said only one pastor was kidnapped.

Onovwakpoyeya added, “Only one pastor was kidnapped. They went to buy land or something like that when he was kidnapped. The police are on top of the situation to rescue the victim and arrest the suspects.”

The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the incident said only one pastor was kidnapped.
