Tareri Avwomakpa Bags PhD In Law, Appreciates Oborevwori, Ibegbulem


A former aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Tareri Avwomakpa, has bagged a doctorate of law from Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State.

The award of the PhD in Law followed his successful defense of his dissertation after completion of all academic works.

Avwomakpa, who is also the chairman of the Urhobo Christian Ministers Association (Youth Wing), equally bagged a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Benin.

An elated Avwomakpa dedicated his new academic feat to God for the successful completion and award of the degree.

He had earlier bagged His pursuit for a PhD in a master’s law on Human Rights & Democratisation in Africa from University of Pretoria, Republic of South Africa.

The former political aide to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the former Principal Secretary to Okowa, Hilary Ibegbulem, for their support and encouragement during his studies.

Avwomakpa stated that the continued push from the duo of Governor Oborevwori and Ibegbulem pushed him to enbark on the academic journey.

He also appreciated the founder of Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church, Archbishop Goddowell Avwomakpa for his support and prayers all through his academic pursuit.

Meanwhile, Pastor Avwomakpa commended Governor Oborevwori for awarding the contract for the construction of three flyovers in Effurun to Julius Berger.

He noted that with the construction of the flyovers, the unabated traffic gridlocks usually experienced in Effurun and other parts of Uvwie and Warri would be drastically reduced.

The lawyer turned pastor, however, called on Deltans to support the administration of Governor Oborevwori, assuring that he will deliver on his election campaign promises to all Deltans.
