Okakuro Ede Dafinone, senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has congratulated the chairman of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Elder Omeni Soboti, on his birthday.
In a statement on Wednesday , the Delta Central lawmaker lauded Elder Sobotie for providing visionary leadership which gave Delta APC commendable victory at the 2023 polls in the State.
While commending Sobotie for his contributions towards the stability of the APC in the State and making it the alternative party to the PDP, Senator Dafinone described the former Students’ Union Government at the prestigious Federal Polytechnic, Auchi for bringing lasting peace and unity to the party.
According to Dafinone, ”Elder Omeni Sobotie has shown uncommon leadership to the party in Delta, as a political warlord from his student days as President of the Students Union Government, he brought his political experiences to bear by stabilising APC in Delta State making it formidable party ahead of 2023 general elections.
“On behalf of my family, I join the APC faithful in Delta Central and the great people of Urhobo Nation to celebrate the great master stroker and political leader on his birthday.
“I pray God to grant you good health and sound mind, even as you continue to lead our party to greater heights”, Senator Dafinone added.
