Albert Egbaroghene Okumagba, a popular economist and leading stockbroker in Nigeria, is dead.
He was said to have passed on Thursday in Abuja.
Although details of his passage were still sketchy at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that he died of heart attack related ailment.
He was aged 56.
He was born into the popular Okumagba family of Warri in Delta State.
Family sources in Warri confirmed the sad development to our correspondent.

Our sources could not, however, revealed what killed the notable economist.
He was a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and graduate of Lagos Business School (LBS).
Until his death, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bgl PLC.
A former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, also confirmed the passage of late Okumagba on his Facebook page.
Ibori wrote, “Egba Why? Rest In Peace my dear brother.”
However, his family is yet to officially confirmed passing on as of the time of filing this report.
