Delta State Police Command has arrested a security guard for allegedly raping an eight years old girl in Ibusa, Oshimili South Local Government Area of State.
Police source informed that the incident occurred on Monday in an uncompleted building where the Randy security man guards.
The suspect, it was learnt, lured the Pastor’s daughter into the uncompleted building adjcent the victim residence, with the aim of sending her to buy bread and soft drinks.
However, when the unsuspecting girl arrived the place, the suspect allegedly forced her inside the uncompleted house, tied the hands and defiled her, the source revealed.
It was further revealed that “Her parents who were worried looking for her, alerted neighbors in the area for the search of the girl. Someone said she saw her going into the uncompleted building”.
Accordingly, “We searched the building and caught the suspect in the act while the defiling eight years old was crying for help. We tied up the suspects and reported to the Police for action”.
Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya who confirmed the incident said the Police are investigating the matter.
