Ade Adegbite, a husband of a bank manager, who was kidnapped by gunmen from his Ekpan home in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, has regained freedom.

The released victim was abducted last Thursday and spent four days in captivity before being freed on Monday morning.

It was gathered that Adegbite’s family reportedly paid undisclosed ransom to secure his freedom.

Sources disclosed that the men of the Delta State Police Command from Ebrumede division reportedly recovered his Toyota Venza in which he was whisked away by the hoodlums.

“He has been released and at the hospital”, Onovwakpoyeya said on Tuesday when contacted on the incident.
