Police Charge Two Delta Journalists To Court

The police in Delta State have charged two journalists, Joe Ogbodu and Amour Udemude to a magistrate court in Asaba, the state capital.

Ogbodu is the managing editor of an online platform, BIGPEN Online, while Udemude, also a social critic, works for National Mirror newspaper.

The two journalists, who had earlier been invited by the police and released on bail, were taken to court on Thursday.

NIGER DELTA TODAY gathered that they are being charged by the police over their reports on the crisis in Uzere community in Isoko South Local Government Area of the state.
