PHOTOS: Uduaghan, Vincent, Asagba, Others Attend Late Emmanuel Tuoyo’s Burial In Warri


The remains of Late Mr. Emmanuel Oritsemameyinjami Tuoyo has been laid to rest at the Warri GRA in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State on Friday amidst tears from family members, friends and business partners.

Tuoyo, avid golfer and transport businessman, passed on at 63.

He’s a biological brother to the wife of the former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and former First Lady of Delta State, Mrs Roli Uduaghan.

The deceased was born into the family of Brigadier Sunny Esijolomi Tuoyo of Jakpa and Madam Rebecca Ayonmike of Ugborodo in Warri South West local Government Area of Delta State.

In his homily, Rev. (Dr.) C.J Okoroji of First Baptist Church, Warri, told mourners to put their trust in God rather than man in their journey of life.

He said though the passage of the deceased was painful, Late Tuoyo lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation by those still living.

Among prominent Nigerians who attended the church service were former Governor Uduaghan and wife, Mrs Roli; Duke of Amukpe District of Okpe Kingdom, Chief Peter Asagba; former Delta State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Vincent Uduaghan, Chief Ayonmike, Ossai Ebinum, Members Of Ogunu Golf Club, Warri, Ochuko Orogun and host of others.

Former Governor Uduaghan, who attended both the service of songs and the funeral service, in his tribute described the late Tuoyo as a friend who was more than a brother in-law.

He expressed shock at the sudden demise of the deceased, noting that he would be greatly missed by his family and friends.
