Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and his wife, Dame Edith, on Saturday gave out their daughter, Maxine Ewere, in a traditional marriage to Dr. Daniel Igo from Benue State.
The traditional rite which took place at Governor Okowa’s residence Owa-Alero, Ika North East LGA of the state attracted dignitaries from all walks of life.
Among dignitaries at the event are the past governors of Delta, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and Chief James Ibori; former Minister of Police Affairs and wife, Alaowei Brodrick Bozino; former Minister of State for Education and 2023 PDP governorship aspirant, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi and the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and PDP governorship aspirant, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori.
Others are former Principal Secretary to Late President Musa Yar’Adua and PDP aspirant, Olorogun David Edevbie; Senator James Manager, Delta Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, Elema of Warri, Chief Emma Uduaghan; member representing Warri Federal Constituency, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi; Orode Uduaghan and host of others.
