Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday visited the new Olu of Warri, HRM Ogiame Atuwatse III, at his Warri palace.
The former President, who led a delegation including a traditional ruler to the palace, said he was in Warri to officially congratulate the Itsekiri monarch on his coronation.
Also at the palace to congratulate the Olu was the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs and former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Recall that Ogiame Atuwatse III was Crowned last week Saturday at Ode-Itsekiri in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State at a colourful ceremony.
Since being crowned as the 21st Olu of Warri, prominent Nigerians including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and others have visited the monarch to felicitate with him.
