PHOTOS: Fire Razes Warri Building, Many Escape Death In Delta

There was tension in the Odibo area of Warri, Delta State, on Tuesday following a fire outbreak which gutted a building and sacked all occupants of the building.

The incident is coming barely 48 hours after fire outbreak destroyed goods and BEDC facility at the Otovwodo market in Ughelli area of the state.

NIGER DELTA TODAY gathered that no fewer than seven families who lived in the building, however, narrowly escaped death in the incident.

 It was gathered that the fire was ignited by an electrical spark of wires when power was restored in the area at about 2pm.

  1. I thank God Almighty that no human life was involved The state government should investigate the fire incident , and make proper recommendations so as to prevent such from happening again, Government should also help them to recover their losses.
