The former Director-General of the Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA), Olorogun Stephen Dieseruvwe, has been appointed as the Deputy Director, Research and Planning of the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege/Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi Governorship Campaign Council of the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dieseruvwe, a renowned and globally recognised researcher, will be inaugurated alongside several others into the Delta APC Campaign Council on Monday in Asaba.

The choice of the former DESTMA boss by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Omo-Agege, was announced in a statement signed by the Campaign Council’s Director of Communications and Strategy, Olorogun Niboro, on Sunday.

Dieseruvwe was appointed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the maiden Director-General of the traffic management body owing to his track record in the transportation industry in the United Kingdom.

He joined Delta APC 2020 after he left the services of DESTMA after his tenure was unlawfully terminated by Governor Okowa.
