Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has emerged as the Deputy Senate President of the ninth National Assembly.
Omo-Agege defeated his only opponent Senator Ike Ekweremadu in the election.
The new Deputy Senate President, who represents Delta Central Senatorial District, scored a total of 68 as against the 37 polled by Ekweremadu from Enugu West.
