Olu Of Warri: Emerhor Congratulates Prince Emiko, Itsekiri Nation.


The founding leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, has felicitated with Omoba Prince Tsola Emiko on his ascension and coronation as 21th Olu of Warri.

Emerhor, a renowned and global respected banker, also congratulated the people of Itsekiri Nation on the choice of Prince Emiko to ascend the ancient Itsekiri throne.

In a statement on Saturday personally signed by him, Emerhor who holds the traditional title of Urhukpe of Urhoboland, said the Itsekiri people made the right choice in the selection of the new Olu of Warri.

He charged the new monarch to promote interethnic unity among the different ethnic groups in Delta  State to enhance peace and development.

“On behalf of my family and political associates, I wish to congratulate Omoba Prince Tsola Emiko on his ascension as the 21th Olu of Warri. I congratulate all Itsekiri for his selection.

“Omoba, your ascension is coming at a time the people of Iwere Kingdom are desirous of a unity figure for the prosperity and development of the Itsekiri Nation. 

“I also urge the new monarch to join other royal fathers to promote ethnic harmony in Delta State in order to promote peace and unity and development in our dear State.

“I pray God to grant the new Olu of Warri with wisdom, knowledge and health to reign over his subjects and to overcome current challenges as he ascends the throne. I also enjoin all Itsekiri to allow peace to reign and to support the new monarch for the overall good of Itsekiri Nation and their neighbours”, Emerhor, in the statement appealed.
