Thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently waiting for members of the Delta State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to deliver judgement on the petition filed by the APC candidate Chief Great Ogboru against Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the PDP.
Signals from the venue of the judgement indicate that the tribunal panel members had yet to arrive the venue at about 10:16am on Friday.
However, there is tight security at the venue with combined team of policemen, soldiers and other security agents stationed at strategic locations to maintain peace during the ruling.

The tribunal is situated along the Ibusa road near Koker Junction in Asaba, the state capital.
Our correspondent reports that the atmosphere at the venue which had thousands of APC and PDP supporters is tensed.
The Justice Sulaiman Belgore-led three-man tribunal panel had earlier fixed today (Friday) for judgement.
The tribunal hall is currently filled to capacity as lawyers from both camps were already seated awaiting the commencement of the ruling.
