Okowa Extends Delta COVID-19 Lockdown To April 30

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state has extended the lockdown aimed at curtailing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state to Thursday April 30.

This means that the total lockdown which is expected to end by Tuesday April 28 (today) will now end by Thursday April 30.

The governor also extended the curfew across the state indefinitely.

Okowa stated this during a state-wide broadcast on Tuesday in Asaba.

According to him, the curfew will now begin between the hours of 7pm to 6am beginning from on Thursday.
