Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has reacted to the judgement of the State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which affirmed his re-election victory in the March 9, 2019 governorship election in the state.

Governor Okowa said while he is celebrating the sound judgement of the three-man tribunal which dismissed the petition filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election, Chief Great Ogboru, he would continue with his building of a stronger Delta.

The three-man tribunal led by Justice Suleiman Belgore, while dismissing the petition filed by the APC candidate, described Ogboru’s attempt as “opportunistic and gold digging.”
