The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents’ Chapel has congratulated Engr. Matthew Tonlagha (002), Vice Chairman, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), on his birth anniversary today, Feb. 8, 2025.
The Chapel expressed the felicitation in a statement issued on Saturday by it’s Chairman and Secretary, Mr Victor Okpomor and Igafe Edekin respectively.
The Chapel acknowledged the giant strides Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited had recorded in the onslaught against illegal oil bunkering, pipeline vandalism and piracy in the Niger Delta region.
The Chapel recalled the pitiable state of oil production in the country which was largely caused by illegal bunkers and the nation’s economic saboteurs before your organisation came to the rescue.
It is on record that since Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited was engaged by the Federal Government few years ago to secure oil facilities in the Niger Delta, the country has recorded remarkable improvement in oil production
“Today, oil production output stands at 2.1 million bpd, a feat that has never been achieved in the history of the country before the engagement of Tantita.
“Today, your positive impacts in oil production is in public space and history has recorded the great work Tantita is doing in improving the economy of our dear country.
“Sir, also worthy of note is your immeasurable contributions to the country’s economic base and protection of the Nation’s Critical Assets(NCA) in the oil and gas sector.
“Beyond that, the Warri Correspondents Chapel appreciates your invaluable contributions to the growth and promotion of humanity,” the statement said.
The Chapel acknowledged your leadership and prayed God to continue to grant you the needed strength and wisdom to move the private pipeline security outfit to an enviable height.
The statement lauded the Gbaramatu Chief for his generosity to mankind and described him as a philanthropist and great ambassador to the younger generation.
The Chapel pray God to continue to accord Engr.Tonlagha the wherewithal to attain greater heights as he celebrates another age.
