The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents’ Chapel, has extended warm birthday felicitations to High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as he marks his 54th birthday today.
In a congratulatory statement signed by the Chapel Chairman, Comrade Okies Okpomor, the union praised Tompolo’s exceptional leadership as Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), lauding his role in advancing Nigeria’s oil sector security and economic stability.
The NUJ described the progress made by Tantita Security Services under Tompolo’s stewardship as “monumental,” highlighting the company’s success in combating illegal oil bunkering, pipeline vandalism, and piracy in the Niger Delta region.
According to the union, these efforts have significantly improved Nigeria’s oil output, which now stands at an impressive 1.8 million barrels per day — a feat unprecedented prior to the firm’s engagement by the Federal Government.
The union noted that Tantita’s strategic intervention not only helped restore investor confidence but also boosted crude oil revenue, reinforcing the country’s economic foundation.
“Your immeasurable contributions to the nation’s economic base and the protection of Critical National Assets in the oil and gas sector have placed Nigeria on a new trajectory of prosperity,” the statement read.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tompolo was hailed as a generous philanthropist and a symbol of hope to the younger generation. The union commended his humanitarian efforts and unwavering commitment to the promotion of peace and development in the Niger Delta.
“As you celebrate another year of purposeful life, we join your family, friends, and well-wishers across the globe to pray for your continued good health, wisdom, and fulfillment,” the statement concluded.
The NUJ Warri Correspondents’ Chapel wished Tompolo many happy returns and prayed for divine grace to guide his future endeavors.
