Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Hit 2558 As 400 Patients Are Discharged

170 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Sunday across the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced.

With the new cases, Nigeria has now hit a new record of 2558 confirmed cases.

NCDC in a statement via its verified Twitter handle on Sunday also announced that 40 patients had so far been discharged from various isolation centres across the country.

Lagos State led the pack of the new cases recorded on Sunday with 39 cases while Kano had 29 and Ogun recorded additional 24 cases.
