Nigeria’s Ambassador to Thailand, Oma Djebah, has written an emotional tribute to mark the 67th birthday of the immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Djebah, a former Deputy Editor of THISDAY Newspaper, was appointed as commissioner for information in Delta by Uduaghan.
In an official letter addressed to the former governor, Ambassador Djebah, described the celebrant as a phenomenal who positively impacted lives as governor of Delta.
He also commended the former governor for his outstanding leadership style of kind-heartedness, marvelous sense of accommodation and visionary leadership.
“I have the honour to heartily wish Your Excellency a happy birthday and many more years in good health and abiding God’s blessings as you turn one-year older today, Sir. I know that no amount of words can beat encapsulate your phenomenal, positive impact in the lives of many.
“However, it won’t be out of place to say that the candles on your birthday cake represent not just the years you have attained but also, and indeed, more crucially, the numerous lives you have gracefully touched over the years. I couldn’t therefore let this day go by without wishing you a very happy birthday Sir!
“You are indeed an inspiration, and I pray God continues to grant you many more joyful returns and lasting joy to keep up the exemplary work and admirable contributions to humanity for which you are reputed. Sir, as an accomplished politician, breathtaking medical doctor and one of the most professional leaders, you have proven, over and over again, that a true visionary is one who has the capacity to envision the future and act upon it for the common good of the people.
“Through your good deeds, you brighten the future of many of us who served in your Cabinet between 2007-2015. Your birthday provides a perfect opportunity to hark back, with a sense of gratitude and nostalgia, to appreciate Your Excellency’s kind-heartedness, marvelous sense of accommodation and astounding leadership style
