Nigerian Army Commences Recruitment Exercise Today, Lists Criteria

The Nigerian Army says recruitment exercise into its 81 Regular Recruit has officially commenced today (Monday February 15). 

It said all interested and qualified candidates to apply online through the Army portal. 

According to a tweet on its verified twitter handle, it announced that the intake is for trades and non-tradesmen and women. 

 It said prospective applicants must be Nigerian and own a national ID card. 

“They must be free of any criminal conviction. They should also have a minimum of four passes in not more than two sittings of secondary qualification. 

“Those applying as tradesmen or women must have a trades test or City Guild certificate. 

“Applicants are expected to be not less than 18 years and not older than 22. 

“Tradesmen applicants must not be less than 22 years old”, the requirements on its website said. 

It added that the recruitment form is free for all qualified candidates.
