The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday announced new 22 cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country with Lagos topping the chart with 15 cases.
The number brings to 276 confirmed cases in Nigeria.
According to NCDC’s statement released via its twitter handle on Wednesday night disclosed that FCT Abuja had four with Bauchi recording two while Edo State had one.
It said 44 cases had been discharged while a total of six had so far been recorded in the country.
“Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo.
“As at 09:00pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths”, the tweet reads.
