Nigeria Records Five New Cases Of COVID-19

Five new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have been recorded in the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.

The cases, according to NCDC, were recorded in Lagos, Kwara and Katsina States.

A statement by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle disclosed this on Sunday evening bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 323.

It said a total 85 cases have been discharged following their recovery.

“Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 2 in Lagos 2 in Kwara 1 in Katsina.

“As at 09:10 pm 12th April there are 323 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

“85 have been discharged with 10 deaths There are 19 states with confirmed cases in Nigeria”, NCDC further stated.
