Nigeria Records Additional 64 New Cases Of COVID-19


The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 64 new cases of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

It said the cases were recorded in FCT and Lagos, Borno, Taraba and Gombe States.

This brings to 1337 confirmed cases in Nigeria.

According to a tweet on Its verified Twitter handle, NCDC said the country recorded no death case on Monday.

“64 new cases of #COVID19 reported; 34-Lagos 15-FCT 11-Borno 2-Taraba 2-Gombe.

“As at 11:20pm 27th April- 1337 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 255. Deaths: 40″, the statement added.
