Nigeria Records 226 New Cases Of #COVID19 In Lagos, Edo, Others

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 226 new cases of the coronavirus across the country.

NCDC disclosed this on Tuesday night on its verified Twitter handle saying that Lagos State recorded 131 of the cases.

It stated that the number of confirmed cases in the country are 6,401.

The cases were recorded in 15 states including Edo, Bayelsa, Kaduna and Ogun, and the FCT Abuja.

The figure further revealed that a total of 1734 patients have been discharged while 192 persons have died from the virus with only one death recorded on Tuesday in the country.

The tweet said, “226 new cases of #COVID19; 131-Lagos 25-Ogun 15-Plateau 11-Edo 7-Kaduna 6-Oyo 5-FCT 5-Adamawa 4-Jigawa 4-Ebonyi 4-Borno 3-Nasarawa 2-Bauchi 2-Gombe 1-Enugu 1-Bayelsa.
