Outspoken Niger Delta traditional ruler and Ovie of the oil-rich Great Idjerhe Kingdom in Delta State, His Majesty, King Obukowho Monday Whiskey, Ph.D, Udurhie I, has called on all Niger Deltans to focus on promoting unity, development, and peaceful coexistence within the region.

His Majesty commended the operational successes of Tantita Security Services Limited, which has significantly contributed to environmental restoration, increased crude oil production, and the creation of thousands of jobs for unemployed youths in the area.

Speaking out against efforts to undermine the achievements of Tantita Security, the First Class Monarch expressed his sadness over the actions of faceless individuals who, having lost their illegal sources of income due to the operations of Tantita Security, are now resorting to blackmailing the company’s authorities.

The Idjerhe monarch, who is also the National Chairman of the Host Communities (HOSCON) Traditional Rulers and Elders Advisory Council, urged Niger Delta patriots to instead advocate for the expansion of Tantita Security’s operations to enable the region to benefit even more from its positive impact.

He emphasised that the people of the region should be supporting the success of the contract ,rather than falling prey to a divisive “pull him down” mentality.

The Monarch also highlighted the praise and recognition Tantita Security Services has received from both the Federal Government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for its remarkable achievements in safeguarding critical national assets.

Udurhie 1 advised those engaged in negative campaigns to redirect their energies into more productive and positive endeavors, suggesting that undermining a successful initiative led by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), whose efforts are widely commended, will only harm the collective future of the region.

“Collectively, we can achieve greater things, but those who choose to bring others down will never be part of the solution,” the Monarch concluded.
