Nigeria has recorded 204 new cases of COVID-19 in 17 states and the FCT, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Thursday.
With the new cases, the number of confirmed cases in the country have risen to 1932
Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Ondo States are among the states where the cases were recorded.
NCDC disclosed that 80 cases of the number were recorded in the commercial city of Kano while Lagos recorded 45 cases.
According to a statement on its verified Twitter handle, the Centre said seven cases were recorded in Edo State, Rivers State had six, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa got four cases respectively.
It further disclosed that Delta and Ondo States recorded two and one cases respectively.
The statement also disclosed that seven deaths were recorded on Thursday bringing the number of fatality to 58.
