A chairmanship aspirant for Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Monoyo Edon, has heartily congratulated a former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, on his 69 birthday anniversary.
Edon, a former spokesperson to the former Governor, described Uduaghan as political father figure to many Deltans including him.
In a statement on Sunday, he stated that Uduaghan has remained respected and eulogised across ethnic and political lines over eight years after leaving office as Governor of Delta.
“On behalf of my family, I join your family, your political children and well wishers across the world in felicitating with you on this special occasion of your 69th birthday.
“I am proud to associate with you because you have made me better than who I was when you took me into your fold as both an Aide and a son some years ago.
“Like fine wine, Deltans and indeed all those who are associated with you can attest to the fact that you’re loved more now that you’re out of office and become a senior citizen of our state and nation.
“Thank you for all you have done and still doing for me and my family.
“May God grant you excellent health to keep seeing your Delta united and peaceful for prosperity,” he stated.
