The remains of Warri-based businessman, Late Mr Shelly Ekuyovwe Emadogie, have been laid to rest at Akperhe-Olomu in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State as Engr. Isaac Omafuaire calls for unity amongst the youths.
Emedogie aged 64 years was survived by a wife, three children and many relations.
Rev. Reuben Govina, President of Agape Gospel Mission while delivering the homily at Akperhe Primary School Playground, charged everyone gathered to live a Godly life that would grant them inheritance in heaven after their sojourn on Earth.
He emphasized the need for all humans to cautiously live their lives to please God and provide service to humanity with the knowledge that a day would come when they would depart from Earth to face the judgement of God.
Emadogie’s eldest child, Master Mayor Ovie Emedogie while reading the biography of his late father, stated that his father was a socialite who accommodated and accorded respect to anyone that came across his path while on earth.
The interment was done at his compound in Akperhe Olomu before entertainment of guests was done at Akperhe Olomu Primary School.
The occasion afforded Akperhe elites and youths the opportunity to mingle with Engr. Isaac Omafuaire in charge of entertainment as Prof. David Akperhe, Senior Orator of Nigeria mesmerized the audience with his great oratory prowess.
Omafuaire a COREN certified Engineer and younger cousin of Emedoge used the opportunity to call on youths of the community to remain dedicated to hardwork and close ranks with the elites to ensure a greater future.
He also gave immediate support to some of the needy youths with promise for more.
Julius Atanawhemera Esq, younger brother of Emedoge expressed his pleasure at the turnout and thanked all who attended the funeral.
Some personalities who graced the Occasion include, Olorogun Joe Unuame, Olorogun Jerome Omoroh, Barr Meshach Ituku, Business mogul, Moses Okpare, Engr. Endurance, Engr. Charles Esiso and Ochuko Ojue.
