Lagos JUSUN Ends Strike As Workers Resume For Duties


The Lagos State chapter of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has called off the 23-day strike embarked upon over financial autonomy for the judiciary

Judicial workers on Thursday resumed full duty in Lagos following agreement by the Lagos State Government to implement autonomy for the third arm of government.

It was gathered that all departments in the Lagos judiciary opened on Thursday.

However, it was observed that courts are yet to commence sitting.

Judicial workers across the country had been on strike demanding full implementation of financial autonomy for judiciary
