A commuter simply identified as Gift has called on travelers who ‘unknowingly’ made away with her wedding wears in a Warri-Benin public transport to kindly return them.
The lady, who lamented the sudden disappearance of the belongings, said the materials are expensive wedding wears she had just purchased for her upcoming wedding ceremony.
Gift, a make-up artiste, said she boarded the said commercial vehicle from Mercyland Church in Effurun near Warri to Benin when the incident happened.
The incident was said to have occurred on Thursday January 7th, 2021 at about 4:45 pm.
Miss gift who narrated her story to NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online correspondent on Monday said she boarded the vehicle alongside other passengers.
According to her, she had boarded the car with a young man and an elderly man with both wearing white T-shirts and reportedly both highlighted at By-pass in Benin where they took her belongings along with them.

When we got to Benin they stopped at By-Pass and they collected their stuff from the boot unknowing to me they collected mine as well. When I got to Agip I came down and behold I couldn’t find my belongings”She narrated.
Gift listed some of the missing belongings contained in a white bag to include, white heels, coloured sneakers, top and other important personal stuffs she bought for her wedding.
She pleaded with the co-travelers and other road users who possibly must have seen the missing materials to return them to her.
