Kidnapped Former President Jonathan’s Cousin Regains Freedom

Jephthan Robert, a cousin of former President Goodluck Jonathan, who was kidnapped two weeks ago has regained freedom from his abductors.

He was kidnapped by armed-wielding gunmen at his Biogbolo-Epie residence near Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on January 24th.

Austin Ekeinde, a media aide to the victim’s younger brother, Azibaola Robert, confirmed his release in a terse statement on Monday.

He said, “We give all the thanks to God for the safe return of our brother Jephthah Robert Yekorogha, from the kidnappers’ den.”
