Gov Oborevwori Appoints Agbi, Ogboru, Clark’s Sons, Others As Advisers

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Engr. Goodnews Agbi, NNPP governorship candidate in Delta State

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed the Delta State governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the 2023 gubernatorial elections, Engr. Goodnews Agbi, as his Special Adviser.

He also appointed the House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Ethiope Federal Constituency in the last general elections, Mr. Michael Ogboru Esq. and former Burutu Council Chairman, Mr. Ebikeme Clark, as his Special Advisers.

While Ebikeme is the eldest son of the Elder statesman and former Minister of Information, Chief Edwin Clark, Michael son of serial governorship contestant in the state, Chief Great Ogboru.

Their appointments was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, on Monday.

Also appointed as Special Advisers to the Governor are; Hon. Barr. Charles Whomrowho Oniyere, Mr. Sylvester Oromoni, Hon. Shedrack Ekene Rapu, Dr. Donald Onyibe Peterson, Hon. Peter Uviejitobor and Chief Nath Azuka Igbadi.

The statement read, “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public particularly Deltans, that the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori has approved the appointment of the following persons as Special Advisers…

“The date for the swearing-in of the Special Advisers will be announced in due course.”
