In continuation of his pursuit for excellence and personal development, entrepreneur and investment banker, Dr. John Eguolo Mukoro, has graduated from the 2023 Senior Executive Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Plateau State.
Mukoro was among members of the NIPSS Senior Executive Course who recently also presented their report to President Bola Tinubu at the State House at the completion of their extensive executive training where they are expected to develop roadmap for the nation’s development.
The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (also called The National Institute or NIPSS) was established by Decree number 20 of 1979, now Cap N-51 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 to amongst other things formulates policies and strategies for the country’s development.
The Senior Executive Course 45 (2023) had its members drawn from the private, public and other sectors of the nation with the primary objectives of serving as the nation’s foremost policy think-tank to develop a crop of top-class technocrats of high intellectual capacity, who will conceptualize and anchor the implementation of innovative and dynamic policy initiatives and strategies, critical for national development.
Dr. Mukoro, who was one of the beneficiaries, was sponsored by the Presidency of former President Muhammadu Buhari on the recommendation of the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, for his impact in the private sector and development of businesses.
Speaking on the experience during the one year training, Dr. Mukoro said the program has exposed him to many other area of the economy which has remained untapped.
According to him, the report of the Senior Executive Course 45 (2023) which had already been presented to President Tinubu and titled, “Industrialisation, Energy Security, and Climate Change: Issues, Challenges and Prospects” if well implemented will help the present administration to achieve its ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.
Mukoro, who also a real estate consultant, commended the Federal Government for sponsoring him for the program, saying experience garnered during the training would help him navigate and contribute his quarters to whatever that will help the country to achieve national development.
He is also a seasoned coach, facilitator, and a sales strategist whose core interest is in nurturing sales champions and helping organizations increase in their sales revenue. He has over a decade of banking experience, having attained the position of a branch manager in one of the top commercial banks in Nigeria.
He is the Managing director of Esecares Global Limited, also the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Ilomac Engineering and Engineering Consultants Limited.
John Mukoro has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American Management University.
John has not only undergone the Policy Strategy and Leadership Course (PSLC) at NIPSS but has also recently completed the one year Senior Executive Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru Jos for which he was awarded Member of the National Institute (mni)
John is a Graduate of the School of Politics, Policy, and Governance where he obtained a Certificate in Public Leadership and Policy (CPLP).
Dr. John is a certified Practitioner of the Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), and also a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach. An alumni president of Emotions City, Centre for Emotional Intelligence Development in Africa.
He is a member of the Enterprise Development Centre(EDC) of Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, where he received a certification in Entrepreneurial Management. He is also a fellow of the International Society of Diplomats (FISD), and a certified Business Development Service Provider with SMEDAN.
He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School (Pan Atlantic University), Lagos where he obtained a certification in Agribusiness Management.
An alumnus of School of Estate & Business having attended the Stream 52 of the Real Estate Business Course in 2022.
John is married to his childhood friend, Linda Aituaje Mukoro and blessed with three lovely children: Eseoghene, Ejiroghene and Efetobore.
