An elder statesman and former federal commissioner for information, Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark has condemned the involvement of a senatorial candidate of the APC in Niger State as a contractor to produce sensitive materials for the rescheduled 2019 general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Clark, miffed by the situation, has however asked INEC chairman, Prof. Yakubu Mahmood to explain to Nigerians if its decision to contract the production of such sensitive materials to a candidate standing for the elections was justifiable.
Briefing journalists on Wednesday at his Kiagbodo country-home in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Clark, who was one time a senator said Nigerians are unconvinced by the reasons cited by INEC for the postponement of the last Saturday’ Presidential and National Assembly elections.
