The Inspector-General of Police, Muhammed Adamu has ordered the redeployment of the newly promoted Assistant Inspectors-General of Police to various zones and formations.
Dan Bature was deployed as AIG, finance and administration, force headquarters,Abuja; Hyelasinda Musa, AIG Police Mobile Force; Yunana Baba, AIG Zone 8 Lokoja;Dan-Mallam Mohammed, AIG Special Protection Unit; Mua’zu Halilu, AIG Counter-Terrorism Unit; Rabiu Yusuf, AIG ICT and Ahmed Iliyasu, AIG Zone 2, Lagos.
Others include Mohammed Kura, AIG Maritime; Zaki Ahmed, AIG Zone 6, Calabar; Zama Senchi, AIG Community Policing; Bello Sadiq, AIG Zone 1, Kano; Austin Iwero, AIG DOPS and Lawal Ado, AIG Works.
The posting is with immediate effect
The Force spokesman, DCP Frank Mba, in a statement in Abuja on Friday, said Adamu tasked the AIGs to bring their vast experiences and professionalism to bear in advancing the fortunes of the Force.
“The IG further directs the officers to ensure adequate supervision of their respective department/formation to enhance the ongoing drive at repositioning the Force for improved service delivery, “ it said.
