The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has flagged off its campaigns for the 2019 general elections beginning from the home town of the former governor of the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, in Oghara, Ethiope West Council Area of the state.
Ibori, who is presently at the venue, was seen sharing jokes with the wife of the state governor, Edith Okowa at the venue.
Although, it was not clear what the jokes was Governor Okowa later joined his wife and Ibori in the laughter.
Unlike him, Ibori has been politically quiet even as the polls draw near.
Ibori’s cousin and the immediate past governor of the state, Dr Emmanuel Uduagha, has since dumped the PDP for APC. Uduaghan is the senatorial candidate of the APC for Delta South Senatorial District.
The former governor, who is dressed in Urhobo attire, is being flanked by Okowa and his wife, and state chairman of PDP, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso.
