The Edo State Police Command has confirmed the murder of Felix Olajide Sowore, brother to the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore.
It, however, said the gunmen who killed the deceased, abducted five persons during the incident.
The command said the identity of those kidnapped were yet to be ascertained.
The Command image maker, SP Kontongs Bello, disclosed this in a statement posted on its WhatsApp platform.
Kontongs who said the incident occured at about 6.45 am at Isuwa Junction, said search and rescue operation for the Kidnap victims is ongoing.
