Arms wielding gunmen on Monday invaded the Aguduma-Ekpetiama
Police Station in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, killing the Divisional Police Officer, a pregnant policewoman and two other suspects.
The incident, it was gathered occurred about 2am on Monday morning where unspecified amount of arms and ammunition carted away from their armoury.
Bayelsa State Commissioner for Youth Development, Engr. Udengs Eradiri confirmed the report when he visited the scene of incidence in his hometown.
The Commissioner while expressing sadness over the unfortunate incident, called on Security agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice.
The Bayelsa State Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Buswat confirmed the report saying,”The gunmen killed the DPO and other policemen.”
