Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly abducted a female trader at the Otovwodo area of Ughelli in Delta State.
Ughelli is one of the urban centres in Delta and administrative headquarters of Ughelli North Council Area of the state.
The victim identified as Mrs Akpezi Okpidi was said to be heading to her shop when the hoodlums allegedly waylaid and forcefully took her to an unknown location.
The incident, sources told our correspondent, occurred at about 8am on Saturday.

It was gathered that the victim was driving a Honda car while the gunmen attacked with a black tinted GLK Benz.
One of the sources said, “She was kidnapped this morning. She was taken from her car on her way to work. It appears there were no gunshots. No one is over there yet to get a photo.”
The hoodlums fled with her through the Ughelli-Patani Expressway unchallenged.
The State Police Spokesperson, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident via text to our our correspondent.
