Gunmen Assassinate Delta Hotelier, Friend In Udu

Arms-wielding hoodlums on Sunday afternoon assassinated the owner of Widisag Hotel, located along Orhuwhorun Road in Udu council area of Delta state. 

A friend of the deceased was also shot dead by the gunmen, who attacked the duo in a vehicle close to First Bank, off Udu Road. 

Details of the incident were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, but sources said the incident occurred at about 2:20pm. 

The murdered hotelier is identified as Chief Elvis Otedafe Onojerame, aka Prince Kasuwa.

 Photos sighted by this medium depict a bloody car seat and the deceased hotelier. 

When reached for comments, the Delta State Police Command confirmed the incident, but could not give further information on it. 
 

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said “it is true. There was an assassination. Yes, two people”.
